.Red SA 1964 Rugby Jubilee Souvenir Programme:

This is the standard scarlet-covered 44-page A5 sized edition for a number of games in SA Rugby’s 75th Jubilee Year of game and events. The center insert in this one is for the Western Province v France match on 18 July, plus a host of curtain raisers where you can play ‘spot the future Springbok’! Very good condition, fully illustrated, no reserve.

Fabulous British Lions 1971 Autographed Dinner Menu:

Lions and England hooker John Pullin’s copy, fully and neatly autographed by the victorious Lions’ players, manager Doug Smith and coach Carwyn James, this colourful menu is from the National Sporting Club’s Café Royal Dinner to honour the All Blacks’ conquerors on Oct 25 1971. A terrific, clean, comprehensive piece of memorabilia after a golden tour: what a tempting item. Reasonable reserve, have a go!

NZ v 1959 Lions & 1956 Boks: 2 LP Records:

NZ issue: Very Interesting and different (if you’ve got a record player!). Selected commentary by the legendary Winston McCarthy from these two great series, with slightly damaged, colourful cartoon style covers by the famous Neville Lodge. Good condition. Thanks to Phil Stallard for the donation. No reserve.

 

Mint Copy of Stephen Jones book ‘On My Knees’:

England’s 2003 WC Year through the pen of the Sunday Times veteran journo, marvellous 272-page Mainstream paperback in perfect condition, no reserve.

Dublin University RFC Team Photograph Book, 1866-1972:

Fascinating volume, in terrific internal condition with some rubbing and foxing to the hard red covers of this larger than A4, landscape format book. Large team photographs and names of the majority of teams during the Club’s long history to that point, with many famous names portrayed. Unusual and a must for the student of this Club or of Irish Rugby history in general. Low reserve.
