Sadly David Watkins had to pull out of the event at short notice, and despite desperate attempts to find a replacement none was forthcoming. However members were treated to a humorous and interesting talk by one of our Irish members - Willow Murray.

Willow talked about his interests in rugby and collecting, his activities with the IRFU.

Willow had certainly kissed the Blarney stone several times in his life, and had the large crowd eating form his hand and roaring with laughter .... Thank you Willow from all who had the pleasure of your company.

Many members also took the opportunity to visit the members museum at the club, where several wonderful items were on display including the Springbok head presented for the 1912 victory and a fully signed photograph of the visitors ... see below
