Included in this month’s RMS auction were two items donated by former Newport, Wales and British Lion Hooker Bryn Meredith ‘a team photo of 1959 Newport RFC Sevens squad that won the Welsh 7’s tournament held at Newport’ which sold for £10. another team photo of the 1949 Welsh Secondary Schools that took on the English Public schools at Cardiff Arms Park on April 23rd). Made up LOTs 1 & 2.
The very rare and highly sought after 2017 programme from Wales summer tour match against Samoa played in Apia Park Stadium was LOT 3 and sold for £70.
The other LOTs in this month’s auction were the acclaimed NZ Book: Behind the silver fern (LOT 4) which sold for £5.
LOT 5 is a famous large Aussie book: The Game & The Players by Jack Pollard raised £5.
Our final LOT is photo/postcard signed by NZ great Sir Colin Meads (see photo). This somewhat sad, but lovely item sold for £10.
