1894
Home Nations Championship
The following illustrations of the four home nations sides of 1894 come courtesy of the Evening Express, A Cardiff based newspaper. Ireland would win all three matches played to win their first triple crown, Firstly beating England 5-7 at Blackheath ‘London’, then Scotland 5-0 at Lansdowne Road ‘Dublin’ and finally Wales 3-0 at the Ulster Cricket ground ‘Belfast’.
One of our members is very keen to learn if any of the Ireland Jerseys of this period are still in existence, please get in touch if you are aware of any.
