France International Match Worn Jersey
Tuesday 23rd February 1909

1909 France v Wales - Rugby Memorabilia Society

1909 French Team that played Wales

This French international jersey (see below) forms part of the Phillip Dudley Waller collection (who was playing his club rugby for Newport RFC), Phil Waller was a doubt to play in this match '& according to the Evening Express' is not very fit and if he does not play Cardiff forward J.P Casey will be called upon (sadly for Casey he did not make the field and would never represent Wales in an international).

To France sole try by Sagot converted by Mauriat.
